Blade Runner: 2049 – A Estética de Uma Distopia Colorida
Abstract
Blade Runner: 2049 is the work here analyzed and the one we aim to better understand using arguments that come from the theory of communication, digital culture, and postmodern thinking. For a better framing of the color questions, we have recourse to specific authors about these subjects. Our color analysis is based on 1282 images captured from the film Blade Runner: 2049. It is interesting to see how all the symbology and visual elements of the film work, as well as, once the theoretical elements are deconstructed, one can see how the film is organized. After all, what do the visual codes convey? Do they influence the narrative? The story only makes sense because it continues the universe of the first film. Our work is based on the understanding of this narrative universe fo Blade Runner.
